Admission for International Students

本校辦理招生事務，除宣傳、推廣及協助學生辦理來臺簽證、健康檢查、旅行交通相關必要程序外，其他招生事務皆無委由校外機構、法人、團體或自然人辦理。

The school are responsible in handling foreign student enrollment affairs. Except for publicity, promotion and assisting students to go through the necessary procedures for coming to Taiwan, enrollment affairs shall not be entrusted to outside institutions, legal persons, groups or individuals.

Student language proficiency criteria

(一)本校設有全英文及非全英文授課之學系(程)，非全英文授課之學系(程)以中文授課為主。

There are departments (programmes) taught in Fully English and non-fully English taught in our school, and departments (programmes) taught in non-English are mainly taught in

Chinese

1. 中文授課：申請學生須繳交華語文能力測驗A2(含)以上等級證書或相當於歐洲共同語文參考架構(CEFR)A2(含)以上等級之中文能力證明。

Chinese-taught courses: applicants must submit a certificate of A2 (inclusive) or above in the Chinese Language Proficiency Test or a Chinese proficiency certificate equivalent to A2 (inclusive) in the CEFR.

2. 全英文授課：申請學生須繳交相當於歐洲共同語文參考架構(CEFR) B1(含)以上等級之英文能力證明。(包含TOEIC Bridge總分84分(含)以上； TOEIC總分550分(含)以上；IELTS 總分4.5分(含)以上； TOEFL ITP總分460分(含)以上； TOEFL iBT總分42分(含)以上； Duolingo English Test總分65分(含)以上)

Fully English Courses: Applicants must submit a certificate of B1 (inclusive) or above of English proficiency Test. (Acceptable tests include TOEIC Bridge with a total score of 84 or higher, TOEIC with a total score of 550 or higher, IELTS with a score of 4.5 or higher, TOEFL ITP with a total score of 460 or higher, TOEFL iBT with a total score of 42 or higher, or the Duolingo English Test with a total score of 65 or higher.)

3. 申請學生須於核發入學許可前繳交語文能力證明。

Applicants are to submit their language proficiency test slip before the admission slip is issued.

(二)語文測驗免繳條件：Language Proficiency test exemption

申請學生如符合以下條件，可提供相關證明，不須再繳交語文測驗。

Students who meet the following requirements can provide relevant certificates and do not need to submit the proficiency test results.

1. 中文授課 Chinese-taught courses

(1) 母語為中文：提供中文背景自述信，描述平時使用中文的情況、學習的狀況以及中文聽說讀寫的能力。

Chinese as mother tongue: Provide a self-report letter of Chinese background, describing the daily use of Chinese, the status of learning, and the ability of Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing.

(2) 前任一學位(含高中畢業證書)為中文授課：提供畢業證書及相關中文授課證明。

Any previous degree (including high school diploma) taught in Chinese: provide a graduation certificate and relevant Chinese-taught certificates.

(3) 前任一學位(含高中畢業證書)主修中文：提供畢業證書或學校開具之證明。

Any previous degree (including high school graduation certificate) majoring in Chinese Language: provide a graduation certificate or a certificate issued by the school.

2. 英文授課 English-taught courses

(1) 官方語言為英語國家：無需出具任何語文能力證明文件。

Countries whereas English as official language: no language proficiency documents are required.

(2) 在英語系國家取得前任一學位(含高中畢業證書)：提供畢業證書作為證明。

Obtain any previous degree (including high school diploma) in an English-speaking country: provide a graduation certificate as proof.

(3) 前任一學位(含高中畢業證書)為全英文授課：提供畢業證書及相關英文授課證明。

Any previous degree (including high school graduation certificate) taught in English: provide a graduation certificate and relevant certificates.

財力證明基準

Proof of financial resources criteria

3 個月內由金融機構開立美金 3,500 元或新臺幣 100,000 元以上之財力證明，或政府、本校或民間機構提供全額獎助學金之證明。

A financial statement issued within recent 3 months from a financial institution with a minimum balance of US$3,500 or NT$100,000, or proof of having a full scholarship or grant provided by a government, university, college, or private organization.
